Happy Easter! Happy (inner)-resurrection!

Today is a great day filled with much meaning and sybolism. We are celebrating the rebirth of Christ, and more specifically the re-birth of the Christ within ourselves. On a personal note, I have been going through my own personal resurrection, on the path of spiritual awakening, letting go of the past and dark emotions, clouds, and resentments that were blocking my heart. Those of us on the awakening journey are emerging, and upgrading into higher versions of ourselves, a beautiful process of becoming. Just like a chick cracking its egg, it may feel shaky, uncertain and a bit scary at times, but this upgraded version of ourselves is the higher version.

Having our hearts closed off is not the way we were intended to live, nor is carrying old wonds, projecting them onto others, carrying heavy baggage, negative thoughts about ourselves or resentment towards others. When we finally let go, we are free.

The Universe always sends signs to us through images and nature symbolism. I’ve seen many signs of transformation this week including butterflies, dragonflies, deer, and spiders, encouraging me to let go of my burdens, fly free and spin the web of my new life. The universe is always sending signs our way, and we must be ready and willing to receive them.

In his great book The Course in Miracles Made Easy, author Alan Cohen discusses teachings from the Course ( which is a non-religious text about finding inner peace) and talks about the many interpretations that have been made of Easter, the crucifixion of Jesus and the resurrection of Christ.

Contrary to what many believe about the celebration of Easter, the rebirth is the true teaching and meaning of this holy day. God and the Universe do not want us to crucify ourselves, to die for our sins nor to suffer…ever. The Course tells us that there are no sins as what is not love does not exist. What God truly wants for us is freedom and peace, through love, and to know that the true power does not lie outside of ourselves but within.

Perhaps you have misunderstood His plan, for He would never offer pain to you. ( via A course in Miracles). The will of God is entirely, utterly , eternally, only love. ” Alan Cohen

Today, we are free to see the world through new eyes and as it truly is: filled with love, peace, kindness and beauty.

He will remove all faith that you have placed in pain, disaster, suffering and loss. He gives you vision which can look beyond these grim appearances, and can behold the gentle face of Christ in all of them. You will no longer doubt that only good can come to you. – – -A Course in Miracles

We are all going through massive transformation as we witness the mass awakening on this panet at this time. Our collective healing and our rememberance of love will heal not only ourselves, but each other.

May your day be filled with joy, love and bountiful peace!
